SpeechStation2 is a complete system for spectrographic analysis of speech sounds that runs under Windows® 98/NT/2000/XP/Vista. The system can also be used to examine the sounds of singing, musical instruments, machinery, or any other sound that must be studied and displayed in exact detail. It is the successor to the original Sensimetrics SpeechStation, in use at universities and research SpeechStation2organizations throughout the world. In addition to rapid production of research-quality spectrograms, the new system provides new analysis functions, is faster and easier to use, and far lower in cost. The SpeechStation2 is a software system that uses any Windows®-compatible audio card. Computers that already have such a card require no additional equipment for use with the SpeechStation2.
