From the Subway (T)Take the Red Line towards Alewife Station. The second to the last station is Davis Square. Get off at Davis Square. Go up the escalators, go through the turnstiles, and take a left. Go up the stairs to exit the station, and at the top of the stairs there will be glass doors in front of you, and also to your left. Go out the doors to your left. (This is a bus alley.) Once outside, take a left, and start walking down the bus alley, away from the T-station and Davis Square. As you walk down the sidewalk, you will be walking alongside our building, 48 Grove Street. The entrance is at the far end of the building, and Sensimetrics is on the third floor in Suite 305. From the West (on the Mass Turnpike East)Take I-90 (Mass Pike) East towards Boston. Get off at Exit 18 (Allston/Cambridge). After you pay the toll, there’s a fork in the road. Bear right at this fork towards the signs for “Cambridge/Somerville.” You’ ll be funneled around a circle, and end up facing a bridge (over the Charles River). Go straight across the bridge, and take your first possible left once you’ve crossed (onto Memorial Drive). You’ll be on Memorial Drive, with the Charles River on your left, headed towards Cambridge. About a mile later, take a right on J.F.K. Street (at the full traffic light) and you’ll be heading into the center of Harvard Square. Go straight through Harvard Square. You’ll pass by the Out of Town News on your right, and the Harvard Coop on your left. Shortly thereafter, you’ll come to a fork in the road (it comes up quickly). Bear left. This left hand fork has two lanes. Stay in the right lane. You’ll then be on Massachusetts Avenue. Follow Massachusetts Avenue past the large shopping center (about a mile or so) which is Porter Square. (You’ll see the Commuter Rail Station, CVS, Star Market, Pizzeria Uno, all on the right.) Continue on Mass Ave past Porter Square. Over the next half mile or so, you should be on the lookout for a right turn on DAY Street. It is a one - way street that goes directly into Davis Square. Take the right on DAY Street and follow it to the end (by the Post Office). Take a right (it’s one-way). Take your first available left on Grove Street. Follow Grove Street to the end of the block (across from Brooks Pharmacy). Go straight through the Stop sign, and you’ll see 48 Grove Street on your left, in front of a wrought-iron gate. You can park at the meters in front of Brooks, or in the nearby vicinity. Sensimetrics is on the third floor, Suite 305. From the North (Rte 95 South to Rte 93 South)Go South on Rte 95. Follow Rte 95 South to Interstate 93 South, Exit 37A towards Boston. Follow I-93 South to Exit 31 for Route 16 East. You will merge onto Mystic Valley Parkway for a very short time. Get in the right hand lane, merge, go straight through the intersection, and you’re on Harvard Street. Follow Harvard Street through an additional three sets of lights until you reach Powderhouse Circle. At the Circle (rotary), merge into traffic and take the fourth possible right. (You can take a right onto College Avenue towards Tufts University, Powderhouse Avenue, Broadway, but your fourth right is College Avenue towards Davis Square, where Sensimetrics is located.) Go about 0.3 miles until you’re in the heart of Davis Square. At the first full light, traffic goes straight, then bears off to the left a bit. Follow traffic but stay in the left lane. Take your first available left on Grove Street (Cristo’s Pizza is on your left, a liquor store on your right). Follow Grove Street to the end of the block (across from Brooks Pharmacy). Go straight through the Stop sign, and you’ll see 48 Grove Street on your left, in front of a wrought-iron gate. You can park at the meters in front of Brooks, or in the nearby vicinity. Sensimetrics is on the third floor, Suite 305. From the South (Rte 95 North to Rte 93 North)Go North on Rte 95. Follow Rte 95 North to Interstate 93 North. Follow 93 North towards Boston, and through Boston. On the north side of Boston, get off at Exit 31, Rte 16. Once you get off the highway, stay in the right lane, and bear right to exit at the sign for Medford. (If you stay left, you’ll remain on Route 16.) At the end of the ramp, take a left. You’ll come to a fork in the road immediately thereafter, where a Mobil Station sits. Bear right at the fork, and leave the Mobil station on your left. At the next full set of lights, take a right onto Harvard Street. Follow Harvard Street through an additional set of lights until you reach Powderhouse Circle. Sensimetrics is on the third floor, Suite 305. From Rte 2 (off Rte 95)On Rte 95, going either North or South, get on Rte 2 going East towards Arlington (Exit 29). Once you’re on Rte 2 going East towards Boston, Cambridge, and Arlington, follow it until the end. You’ll approach Alewife station, and Rte 2 will turn into Rte 16. Stay in the left hand lanes as the road ends, and you’ll be funneled into Rte 16. (If you stay right you’ll end up at Alewife Station, and you’re going the wrong way.) Follow Rte 16 through one full traffic light, its intersection with Massachusetts Avenue. At the second full traffic light, go right (at the Johnnie’s Foodmaster supermarket). Follow this street through two traffic lights (in very close proximity) and bear right after the second one. You are on Holland Street. Follow Holland Street about a half a mile, until your next set of lights, next to the Somerville Theatre. Go straight through the lights, and take your next available left onto Grove Street.
