Sensimetrics Corporation was founded in 1987 with the mission of providing useful tools for researchers, educators, and clinicians in the field of human communication. Over the years, Sensimetrics has pursued applied research on topics ranging from speech synthesis to instructional software to hearing aids. These R&D projects have developed technology that is now either incorporated into Sensimetrics' own software products or licensed to leading clinical instrument manufacturers and speech technology companies. In addition to its primary research and development activities, Sensimetrics Corporation provides consulting services in the areas of signal processing for speech and audio, speech production and synthesis, and forensic audio analysis.
